My family and I traveled to Breck again on Sat. 1-24-09. The snow was great, with several new inches. We also toured the Snow Sculptures, designed by competing teams from several countries. The economy may be down, but activity in the high country sure seems to be "hopping". We experienced huge crowds both on the mountain and in town. We can't wait to get back, now I just need to sell some real estate here in Denver so we can afford to keep going! Our local market seems to be picking up. My office has seen showing activity more than double in the last 2 weeks. We'll see if that transfers into more sales. My buyers and myself have noticed there sure aren't as many homes actually "available" as there were 2 months ago. As we head towards spring we'll see if this trend continues.
